The 9’9’’ #6 is a fast rod but a touch more sensitive than its bigger brother. This smaller version was made more for fishing closer to the surface with different intermediate lines or even the floater.

The 10’ #7 is extremely fast and powerful. This was made with long casts and deeper sinking lines in mind.

I ordered a 9’ 9’’ 7wt Vision stillmaniac fly rod, which came promptly and very well packaged, excellent service. I have several Vision rods plus other makes but this is a brilliant fast rod, I have only fished twice for a couple of hours to try it but caught eight rainbow trout which it handled well. You have to get used to a smaller diameter handle although overall well made and finished, casts very well and a good rod for still waters. Would recommend both the rod and as always, Gamefish.

If you want to chuck Lures into a big Reservoir at range this is the rod for you, fast action no nonsense. A very well made rod , this is definitely made with the competition angler in mind.
