THE PERFECT, ALL-AROUND SHOOTING HEAD FOR ANGLERS USING TROUT SPEY RODS with ultra-low stretch performance

The INTOUCH SKAGIT TROUT SPEY SHOOTING HEAD is a very easy casting, short shooting head that will throw big flies and fast sinking tips with exceptional ease. This is the perfect head for swinging and stripping streamers for anglers using light two-handed trout Spey rods, as well as regular single-handed fly rods (just check the grain weight to match). Each head is made on RIO’s ultra-low stretch ConnectCore for maximum sensitivity. A shooting line and a front tip are required to make this head fishable.

  • • Short, powerful taper design for casting large flies and sink tips with exceptional ease
  • • Ideal for two-handed Trout Spey rods, and single-handed rods
  • • Ultra-low stretch ConnectCore for maximum sensitivity and performance
  • • Loops on each end for fast rigging

Accuracy and turnovers

Had great first day out with the line, turning heavy tungsten tubes over, dropping them inches from the far bank , under over hanging trees (after a bit of practice ! ). Also able to lift the running line of the flow allowing me to guide the lines transition across the current and through the eddies behind the bigger boulder and slow down the speed through the likely lie’s. All this done with a single hander, just watch your weight selection, go by the grain weight not the line weight. I have the 350 grain 4/5 weight and was fine on the 7/8 weight 10 foot trout rod ( think the 4/5 weigh refers to Spey rods) real good fun ! Tight lines.

First go with trout spey gear.

Early days but very pleased with the casting distances using new rod and line.
Good to get 3 fish too!
