Stroft ABR Monofilament

Stroft is the monofilament of choice for the Gamefish Edinburgh staff and many international and well respected river anglers.

The ABR (abrasion resistant) is our choice of tippet for all types of fly fishing but particularly nymphing. It is slightly stiffer that Stroft GTM making it ideal for handling heavier flies and has added abrasion resistant qualities, which help to reduce wear on your leader when fishing subsurface.

Stroft is used extensively by Gamefish Guides Fin Wilson and Calum Conner.
