Ya sea que se trate de pesca de trucha, lubina, lucio o musky, hay ocasiones en las que una mosca grande es la mejor opción, y la serie de líneas Predator de RIO está diseñada específicamente para lanzarlas fácilmente. Con una forma cónica frontal corta y potente y mucho peso en la parte delantera, las líneas no tienen problemas para lanzar las moscas más grandes con facilidad. Ya sea con punta flotante o hundida, cada línea está construida con el ConnectCore Plus de baja elasticidad de RIO para un máximo rendimiento, y cuenta con SlickCast, el revestimiento más liso y duradero del mercado.
Hay 4 líneas de densidad diferentes para cubrir cada situación de pesca:
- Una línea totalmente flotante (F), para acción en la superficie del agua.
- Una línea flotante con 10 pies de línea de hundimiento "Hover", luego 10 pies de línea de hundimiento intermedio en la parte delantera (F/H/I), para pescar en los 2-3 pies superiores
- Una línea flotante con 10 pies de línea de hundimiento intermedio, luego 10 pies de línea de hundimiento medio en la parte delantera (F/I/S3), para pescar en aguas intermedias.
- Una línea flotante con 10 pies de línea de hundimiento rápido, luego 10 pies de línea de hundimiento extra rápido en la parte delantera (F/S5/S7), para bajar profundo y rápido

Lovely casting short headed line for my sub-surface pike fishing. Turning over nicely with a wire tippet and 5-6" baitfish and streamer patterns. Looking forward to seeing how it fairs with some saltwater bass fishing soon.

Normally use outbound short for sinking tip, but thought I’d give this new line a try, mainly due to the ‘handling line’ behind the head.
Casting wise the line is fine in most instances, although for the really big flies, 10inch plus, the outbound short is better at turnover.
I spend long 12 hr days on the river, which involves continuous mainly blind casting at distances between 40 & 80 ft.
The double hauling big flies is hard on most lines & disappointingly after only 3 trips out there is now evidence of cracking beginning to show in the head & handling line. Priced at over £80, to begin to show failure so quickly & this from Rio’s most durable coating ever just feels wrong.
I buy £25 floating lines that last through months of summer fishing. SA lines still last the longest, if only they done a sink tip..

Very good again. This is the second one I have used. The last one did 5 years of sterling service. I christened this one with a couple of pike on Friday. Ideal length head!
