Well after reading all the useless experts bla bla bla on the web i wanted to bet on this rod more fore curiosity on how was feeling fishing with a fiberglass fly rod
Bought the 8ft 5wt and paired with 444 silk Cortland, it gave me such a pleasure on fishing and casting that I'm still surprised on how it's performing on precision, distance, feeling and pleasure .
I was waiting a sure disappointment an instead came a really joyful purchase, the only downside I could point out is the care you must to take on choosing sharp hooks or better barbless , because when you strike the rod action brakes the hook set.
Tested it even on windy day , not problems at all , as soon you set the timing is working without any regrets on grafite rods , obviously till the reasonable fishing distance.

Great service from Gamefish, net is of great quality, well made, should last a lifetime.
