Xcellent product and timely delivery
bought these to attach a rod tube to my fishpond cut bank gear bag, they work great, and as usual the service from gamefish was excellent!
These straps should do a good job of keeping my rods safe and secure,like most Fishpond products very good quality and should take a lot of fishing knocks and punishment in the field.
Would have liked a loop on strap to hold excess down and flush with strap but my they will do the job nicely

I ordered the lariat straps to hold a rod tube in one of my side pockets on my Ridgeline Backpack. The Lariat straps were thicker, stiffer and longer than I expected, however once I fed them through the fixing area on the bag they did a great job at securing the rod tube. Due to their thickness they are a little bulky when not in use and are best removed (a little tricky as they are a very snug fit).
Overall the lariat straps do what I hoped but they would suit the larger Fishpond luggage better due to their size.
