Beautiful rod, well made. Great for small rivers or streams. Excellent for close quater nymphing, but also can cast a WF line a fair distance to reach a rising fish. Very light in the hand when matched with the zero reel.

Wanted a sporty rod with flex to be able to enjoy fighting a fish and after a bit of line changing I found it in this rod.Had to drop down a weight with fly line from 6 to 5 weight and the rod is all I wanted.Price and finish perfect casts great no difference to my Guideline rods.when fighting a fish,all I wanted.Dont go past this rod,it's a joy to fish with.All this doesn't cast well at distance is rubbish, it does and very easily.
I took this rod out for the first time last weekend, and wow, what a rod for the money. The action is so smooth, I loved casting this rod. Paired with a Rio Technical trout line, my presentation and accuracy was so much better. For a budget rod, the finish and fittings are spot on as well. I'll be buying more of these in different sizes for sure.
Very hard to beat this rod. Super smooth casting with great feel and amazing accuracy. Paired with a Rio gold #4 perfectly for me. There is not a better rod for even close to this value, if you think you need it, get it. Brilliant service by Gamefish too.
