I bought this rod specifically for targeting coarse fish in my local canal It has a beautiful action and ideal for my purpose. I have heard good reports of Vision rods and this rod at the lower end of their price scale does not disappoint. It has a superb finish and the fittings are good too.

Great Rod,
Bought for my wife, she has found this rod very easy and comfortable to use. With her being of petite stature. A 9'6" rod with fulls wells was just a little on the arkward side. We put our heads in gear and made the choice to drop down to 9' and half wells. She now feels far more confident with the weight and action of this rod. So much so, she has purchased a second rod of this type. So that really says it all. A sweet rod to cast which handles big fish well. Priced so as not to break the bank . Whats not to like. Mission accomplished. The wife is now happy.
