The Gear Keeper wading staff retractor is the best way to secure a wading staff at your side, so it’s easily accessible but doesn’t get tangled around your feet. The combo mount - both a snap clip and threaded stud in the same package gives even more flexibility for mounting your Gear Keeper right where you want it.
Built using a 60lb Spectra/Nylon line allowing a 32” cable extension, at 9oz retraction force with stainless steel springs & hardware.

This is the 2nd Gear keeper retractor I have purchased. I still have the first one but the cable has become frayed and after 12 years regular use I am only too happy to purchase a replacement for it. I have used it a lot and find it to be strong and reliable. Quite happy to recommend it !
